Service Description: 72-bed long-term care home * residential care for 13 private rooms, 24 semi-private rooms, and 35 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals

Heavy Care: Requires total care with most or all activities of daily living, with complex care nursing needs and/or behavioural management difficulties

 Oxygen (concentrator, liquid), inhalation therapy, suctioning, CPAP machine for sleep apnea, dressings (aseptic, sterile), decubitus care, removal of skin closures, drain care removal, ostomy care, catheter care (urostomy, suprapubic, PICC line, indwelling, intermittent, irrigation), palliative care, IV medications, IM medications, PICC line care, tube feeding, peg care, tracheotomy care, rehabilitation and restorative nursing services, palliative care,  Alzheimer's gentle persuasive approach, responsive behaviour care, risk assessment for falls, assessments for skin and nutrition to enhance quality care, occupational therapy

Infection Control Practices: the home has a designated Infection control lead that is certified in infection control, with key roles on prevention strategies including surveilance, audits, education on hand hygiene and PPE usage, and cleanign and disinfecting.
Current focus is on COVID prevention based on Ministry of Healths Directives

Meal plan / service types: Home style dining room service, meals cooked on premises, tray service when required, family dining available, special diets accommodated
